The adidas Ultra Boost has continued its run as one of the brand’s most popular sneakers in 2018. To help it find its way, adidas has gone back to square one with the Ultra Boost, creating new takes on classic themes, like these new Xeno pairs releasing soon.

This year, adidas has been going all out with their Ultra Boost releases. So far, we’ve seen the release of several mid-top colorways, new variations, as well as the revival of the Consortium Ultra Boost program. However, there is still one of the Three Stripes popular technologies that continues to elude consumers: Xeno. First released back in 2015, Xeno uses light reflections to alter the way colors are seen on shoes. The material reflects certain light waves depending on how it is exposed to them, creating a slew of different colors that can be seen. Previously, Xeno technology has graced Ultra Boost sneakers in limited numbers, until this year. This week, a new two-pack of Xeno-infused Ultra Boost surfaced online, showing both all white and all black variations with the reflective material covering the cages and heel cups.

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST XENO 2018 RELEASE INFORMATION

The adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 is set to return with Zeno coloring sometime in November 2018, though no specific date has been announced yet. Due to their use of the color-altering technology, both the black and white pairs will likely cost more than their usual $180 price tag.
