adidas’ vintage archives are chock-full of world-famous sneakers, like the TRX Vintage. Seen here in a new olive green and sand color scheme, the “Moss Side” pair releases this week.

The adidas TRX Vintage was originally released in 1979, then an exclusive silhouette to Japan. However, collectors quickly began bringing them home to countries all over the world, where the TRX would slowly gain a reputation as one of the Three Stripes best running shoes. While the TRX remains a legendary silhouette in the brand’s archives, it no longer pushes the envelope in terms of performance technologies, though it is still a staple in adidas’ lifestyle offerings. This week, the TRX Vintage surfaced in a new color scheme that seems to allude to Manchester, England’s Moss Side neighborhood, as the name appears in gold foil on the lateral sides. Otherwise, this TRX sports a two-tone green upper across mesh and suede layers, while white stripes & heel counters and a sand-toned midsole complete the look.

adidas Originals’ upcoming “Moss Side” colorway of the TRX Vintage has been scheduled to release later this week, on April 1st, 2022, through German sneaker store AsphaltGold. The Green/Olive/Sand color scheme, constructed from high quality materials, will come with a price tag of approximately $108.
