adidas has spent 2018 in their creative bag. The Three Stripes has spent much of the year dropping brand new silhouettes, often inspired by their past. This month, the brand has another new shoe to share. Check out the adidas Tresc Run.
adidas Originals has gone all out this year introducing new silhouettes to their arsenal. While not every new look has been a hit, the brand has put out some incredible new looks this year, and they are not quite done yet. This month, the Three Stripes has plans to debut one more sneaker before the year is out. Titled the Tresc Run, the new silhouette draws from the history of adidas running, modifying the look and fit for a modern-day lifestyle look. The Tresc Run begins with a mesh base layer, dressed entirely in red for the initial launch. The upper is then layered with several materials in oddly-shaped cuts, giving the Tresc Run a 90’s-like look. The different overlays appear to be made from suede and leather, and making up the lacing system as well as adding support to the heels and forefoot. The suede layers on the initial colorway will come in black, while the lacing system pieces are dyed red to match the mesh base of the upper. The signature Three Stripes are present as always, and will come in blue white and green to stand out on this new colorway.
The debut of the adidas Tresc Run also coincides with adidas’ latest outreach initiative. Partnering with Footlocker, the two have drafted a team of creatives that are making an impact in the community around them. Named the Asterisk Collective, the group includes Kid Cudi, Patrick Mahomes, Candace Parker, H.E.R., Donovan Mitchell, and Raury. The asterisk on the heel of the new Tresc Run will also find its way onto a handful of other silhouettes in the coming months as the Asterisk Collective grows their body of work.
ADIDAS TRESC RUN DEBUT RELEASE INFORMATION
The adidas Tresc Run is scheduled to make its debut on February 1st, 2019. The new Boost-filled silhouette will retail for a retail price of $130, and release from both adidas and select Three Stripes retailers.
