adidas Originals is celebrating 50 years of their timeless Superstar sneaker this year, and there are plenty of special releases to go around. This week, we have our first look at the next special-edition release, which rebuilds the Superstar with Swarovski Crystal.
The adidas Superstar is everywhere in 2020. With the German sportswear brand celebrating a whopping 50 years of the classic sneaker, they are going balls to the wall on their special release, which so far includes projects from Human Made, Mark Gonzales, and RUN DMC, with plenty more on the way. In fact, this week, we have a close look at the next iteration slated for release, which pairs the classic Superstar with Swarovski Crystals. Taking on the silhouette’s quintessential colorway, white leather with black stripes and heel counter. The latter segments are the pieces outfitted with crystals, even extending to the tongue’s branding. Finally, a Swarovski-branded lace lock completes the look.
