adidas just dropped a new rendition of the adidas Superstar which carries the popular comic highlighted design which they have nicknamed, “Sharpie”.
Made popular from sneaker customizers around the world, it’s become a trend to outline different portions of sneakers to create a classic comic effect to the shoe and now adidas has taken some inspiration and applied the theme to their classic Superstar themselves. Featuring the usual white leather construction, red and blue Three Stripes are overlayed onto the side paneling in the usual form. Red and Blue are also used on the heel and tongue for branding as well while black outlining is given to the panelings to create the comic effect. A white shell toe, midsole, and outsole are placed perfectly to finish off the design.
