While celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary, adidas will pair the Superstar silhouette with a Chinese New Year theme.
As you might have known the iconic adidas Superstar will be turning 50 this year and adidas will be celebrating the sneaker all-year long. While the Chinese New Year holiday is right around the corner it only makes sense the Superstar will be apart of the Three Stripes’ annual rollout for the celebration.
The “Chinese New Year” iteration will arrive with a black base leather upper with a white toe shell. Chinese New Year themed graphics paint the midfoot Three Stripes and sockliner while gold accents paint the Superstar spell out below the ankles and the heel. A white midsole and outsole then complete the festive design.
