The adidas Superstar has seen plenty of releases so far in 2020, and as the 50th anniversary of the classic silhouette, there are still plenty to come. This week, we have an early look at the Three Stripes’ canvas rebuild of the Superstar, arriving on shelves soon.
The adidas Superstar has seen its fair share of re-releases and reconstructions in its 50-year history. From the original all-leather construction to Vegan constructions in more recent years, the Superstar is always coming back with a fresh new look. This month, adidas has something new and interesting for us, flipping the classic court sneaker in two new canvas-constructed colorways. Both iterations rebuild the silhouette from the ground up, entirely out of premium canvas layers. Color options come in both olive and navy blue, with white detailing and contrast stitching, while a luxurious leather interior completes the look.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR CANVAS RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas Originals’ latest addition to their Superstar 50th Anniversary lineup, which rebuilds the classic silhouette in canvas, has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks. The new lightweight iteration will be available from both adidas and select retailers for a retail price of just $85.
