The adidas Speedfactory is one of the most ambitious manufacturing projects in recent memory. With several successful releases already accomplished across the globe, the Three Stripes has its sight on New York with the AM4NYC.
adidas is going all-in with efficient manufacturing methods. With innovations like Futurecraft 4D and the Parley collaboration already in the hands of consumers, the Three Stripes’ next move is to have their new Speedfactories working hard. This latest adventure from adidas is based on the idea of quick and adaptive footwear design and manufacturing. The factories are built to allow adidas to conceptualize, prototype, and then produce a sneaker in just a matter of weeks. With the latest factory in Atlanta, Georgia, the brand has been creating the exclusive AM4 footwear series. Each shoe is designed in tandem with specific cities’ runners, meaning that they are built to be worn on the streets of their namesake locations. Next up is New York City, one of the biggest urban populations on the planet. The upper for this pair features the same taped design as previous releases, though this time it will come in all black. As usual, the full-length Boost midsole is present on the AM4NYC.
ADIDAS SPEEDFACTORY AM4NYC RELEASE DATE
The next sneaker made in the new adidas Speedfactory in Atlanta is set to release exclusively in New York City on April 26th, 2018. While no official images of the sneaker have popped up quite yet, leak account YeezyLab has us covered with all the info. The AM4NYC will retail strictly from adidas NYC stores for $220.
