adidas Originals has been leading the charge in vegan-friendly sneakers, with environmentally friendly materials gracing projects with Stella McCartney and an upcoming Sean Wotherspoon project. This week, the Three Stripes adds two classic shoes to their vegan lineup.

adidas Originals first foray into vegan footwear began a few years ago, when long-time collaborator Stella McCartney pushed the Three Stripes to create special, cruelty-free sneakers for her signature collection. Sourcing new leathers and other less environmentally-impactful production methods, the result was the original Stella McCartney Vegan Stan Smith. Now, the Three Stripes are bringing more vegan leather shoes to the table, this time in the form of the classic Samba and Continental 80. Revived in both of their ‘original’ color schemes, the Samba in cream and black and the Continental in white, both pairs are constructed entirely from vegan leather, with a new adidas Vegan logo debossed on the outer heels of each pair, as well as the sockliner.
