adidas is going wild with their retro silhouettes this year. This month, the 2014 Temper Run is back, and Chicago’s Saint Alfred is upgrading the old school runner with a new Fall-ready color scheme and Consortium detailing.
The Temper Run has gathered quite the cult following since 2014. The most outspoken fans of the shoe are usually adidas employees who take to social media to share their love of a semi-forgotten pair. While the Originals team in London was blessed to host the very limited official re-release, some of the adidas Montreal team in Canada has been rabidly obsessing over the Temper Run for the last two years, hoping for a glorious return. Earlier this month, wishes were granted as two brand new colorways of the silhouette appeared on adidas’ website. Now, the Temper Run is heading to a new level, thanks to some help from Saint Alfred and the Consortium team.
Saint Alfred’s unique take on the adidas Temper Run is the perfect shoe for Fall. The heavily stylized runner begins with a deep olive green nylon base, layered with variations of smooth suede in white, cream, and a more vibrant olive tone. The lateral panels have 3M reflective materials added as well, ensuring you’ll be seen in this pair no matter what. Finally, the Saint Alfred Temper Run is finished off with ballistic nylon laces, and dual branding on the tongues.

Saint Alfred’s collaborative new take on the adidas Temper Run is scheduled to release at the Chicago boutique on October 20th, 2018. The Fall-ready colorway has not yet been assigned a retail price, though it is expected to be upwards of around $140.
