Not the first time the two have partnered up, adidas and Run DMC will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Superstar this year with two brand new editions.
adidas and Run-DMC are no strangers when it comes to the Superstar silhouette. Partnering up in celebration of the 25th and 35th Anniversary, they now look to celebrate 5 decades of the coveted sneaker this year.
According to pyrates, the 50th celebration will host two different colorways of the Superstar, white on black and black on white, a perfect combination. Expect to see adidas Originals as well and Run-DMC branding all throughout all while including the 50th Anniversary. While the hip-hop group did wear their shoes laceless, it may be a possibility these will be able to be work without them. Also, something special is going down as a third sneaker is expected to come out of the partnership, but as of now the mode is unknown.
