The adidas Originals Response CL made its debut last year, modernizing 2003’s Response Cushion with a whole new look and feel. This month, the Three Stripes has refreshed the chunky runner with premium new Cream & Grey color scheme.
adidas’ vintage-styled sneakers are consistently some of the best shoes on offer from the Three Stripes. Originally released last year, the Response CL is one of the latest to join the family, refining the 2003 Response Cushion for the modern day. Now, the Originals team has unveiled an even more refined pair, changing up some of the silhouette’s layering for an enticing new look. The latest version pits the Response CL in a whit mesh base layer, before adding the shoe’s typical overlays in soft grey suede and nubuck. The Three Stripes, reformatted to rest on top of other overlays, come in a smooth cream tone, matching the tongue, laces, and midsole hits.

adidas Originals latest release of the Response CL, seen here in a smooth Cream/Grey color scheme, has already released overseas from select retailers like Germany’s AFEW, with a global drop expected sometime in the coming weeks. The newly refined version of the Response CL will likely be available from both adidas and boutique retail partners, with a price tag of approximately $135.
