adidas & Reebok first debuted their collaborative sneakers last year, by combining classic Reebok styles with new Boost midsoles. Now, the two are going a step further, mashing up the ZX franchise with the Instapump Fury for the new hybrid ZX Fury.

Reebok and adidas have been a part of the adidas Group family for years now, but it wasn’t until 2019 that the two took the opportunity to collaborate, mixing silhouettes and technologies from the two vastly different companies into new ideas. Projects so far have included things like the Instapump Fury Boost as well as a James Harden-themed Reebok Question, and now, the ZX Fury is the first true hybrid that combines design language from both brands. Pulling from pre-2000’s sneakers, the ZX Fury, quite obviously, combines elements from the famed ZX franchise along with the beloved Instapump Fury, resulting in an eye-catching new look. The ZX Fury begins with a mesh base layer borrowed directly from the ZX line, before reinforcing it with the Fury’s pumpable neoprene overlays. The toebox features a ZX-inspired suede mudguard, while a similar TPU heel counter appears at the rear. The ZX Fury will debut in a bright teal and green color way, pulling from the brightest looks for both the ZX and Fury franchises.

The new hybrid ZX Fury silhouette from adidas and Reebok has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks from both brands. The mashup of the ZX franchise with the Instapump Fury will likely come with a price tag in the $150+ range.
