The adidas A.R. Trainer has been quite popular as a lifestyle model since its return earlier this year, and the Three Stripes is planning on keeping it that way through exciting new colorways, like this new suede iteration colored in “Glow Blue”.

The adidas Originals A.R. Trainer is a new addition to the Three Stripes family this year, though many adidas fans might recognize that some of the inspiration behind the silhouette comes from the 1980s. The vintage-style A.R. Trainer is heavily based on adidas Tennis sneakers from the 80s, borrowing elements from grass, clay, and cement-based sneakers from the era. The result is a beautiful, sleek silhouette constructed from various leathers, mounted on top of an exposed EVA midsole. This week, the A.R. Trainer has surfaced in another new color scheme, which swaps the shoe’s leather overlays for soft suede, and dyes them in a light baby blue tone.
