adidas is all in on slippers this year, introducing exciting new versions of the classic adilette as well as injection foam-molded styles like the Foam Quake. This week, a plush new silhouette emerged, the Puffylette, coming soon.
adidas’ adilette slides have been a staple of the brand for several decades, delivering comfort in all colors and varying styles over the years. While the Three Stripes are adding new slip-on styles to their arsenal with Yeezy’s Foam Runner and the recent Foam Quake, the brand still has some tricks up their sleeve for new models to come. This week, we were introduced to the Puffylette, a new cold-weather update for the classic slides. The new version features an insulated upper, constructed from a dense black ripstop fabric with warming interiors. Three stripes cross the front of the shoe, mimicking the classic adilette look.

The adidas Puffylette has not yet been announced for release, though the slip-on model is expected to release sometime this year. The cold-weather slipper will be available directly from the brand’s website, with an expected price tag of $69. UPDATE 10/29/22: adidas has released their new Puffylette silhouette, currently available directly from their website for $60. In addition to the black & white look seen here, tonal versions in orange, aluminum, and charcoal are also available.
