The adidas POD System 3.1 is slowly releasing in new color options as the silhouette’s extended rollout continues. This week, adidas shared a look at some of the next new options arriving this month, dressing the POD in a variety of colors.
The POD System 3.1 is currently the apple of adidas’ eye. Their latest lifestyle silhouette evolved from different silhouettes throughout their history, as most of their modern shoes do. The POD, which stands for Point of Deflection, was designed to provide the wearer’s foot with more flexibility and wearability. As a result, the adidas POD System features a thin mesh upper, mounted on top of a three-part sole unit. Over the last few months, the newly revamped silhouette has released in over a dozen colorways, with more being added throughout the Fall season. This week, we have a look at three new enticing options arriving in stores soon for both men and women. First, the will take on a pale green Pantone complete with light grey detailing, similar to the second pair which features a mainly white upper. Finally, the third pair of the pack dresses the upper in a soft steel grey tone, complete with minimal black detailing.
ADIDAS POD SYSTEM 3.1 OCTOBER 2018 RELEASE INFORMATION
The next round of colorways for adidas’ POD System 3.1 silhouette is scheduled to release on October 18th, 2018. The three new basic takes on the lifestyle shoe will retail for a new $100 price point, and launch from adidas and select retailers.
