The adidas Ozweego has become a fan favorite silhouette since the modernized version resurfaced early in 2019. Still an archival classic, by all means, the Ozweego continues to release in new colorways in 2021, like this “Halo Silver” iteration, coming soon.
The adidas Ozweego was first introduced into the Three Stripes catalog back in the 1990s as a long-distance running sneaker. Since then, the look has been reworked time and time again, most notably receiving a high-fashion makeover from adidas collaborator Raf Simons. Now, the Ozweego is back in its updated iteration and launching in new colorways on a regular basis, with even more coming in 2021. This week, we have an early look at a new material update to the Ozweego that released overseas this week, applying a layer of durable ripstop nylon in Halo Silver to the shoe’s base layer. The rest of the Ozweego’s details and cutouts are made form flat grey suede, while hints of Screaming Orange accent the inner lining and rubber running through the lacing system, while a plastic lace toggle completes the look.
