adidas’ Ozweego line has returned in recent years, reviving the late-’80s and ’90s runners in original and updated designs. This week, the Ozweego 3 quietly released in its OG ‘Royal Blue’ color scheme.
The adidas Ozweego line first appeared in 1996, offering a durable and lightweight running shoe for training or competition. The silhouette was revamped several times over the next few years, bringing us second and third iterations, the latter of which make a surprise return to shelves this week. Currently available from overseas retailers, with a wider release expected soon, the Ozweego 3 OG comes in its original colorways, like the clean ‘Royal Blue’ pair seen here. Featuring a mostly white mesh and leather upper, this look adds a bold shade of blue to the outer layers, with hints of neon yellow for the Three Stripes as well as the underfoot Torsion bar.
