adidas Speedfactories are becoming more popular this year. So far, the brand has used them to continue their city-specific line of sneakers, though now, Berlin’s Overkill is getting a special chance to put their own unique twist on the futuristic AM4 silhouette.
The adidas Speedfactory initiative reaches new heights this week. Hot off the heels of the Tokyo city-edition pair, the Three Stripes has now announced the first AM4 sneaker with a collaborative edge to it. Partnering with Berlin’s Overkill, the two have created a highly unique take on the sleek silhouette, dropping exclusively at Overkill next weekend.
The Overkill x adidas Speedfactory AM4 is probably a project we could have seen coming. adidas Speedfactories are beginning to pop up all over the globe, though the brand still largely relies on the home facility in Germany. The two German brands dove deep into adidas history for this release, combining the new AM4 silhouette with a series of overlays inspired by the legendary adidas ZX_4000. The new look features a white Primeknit upper, blue stripes, and bold green detailing along the heel, as well as outlined overlays along the toe box and heel counter.
OVERKILL X ADIDAS SPEEDFACTORY AM4 RELEASE INFORMATION
The first collaborative adidas Speedfactory AM4 from Overkill is scheduled to launch exclusively in-store on October 6th, 2018. The special pairs will retail for roughly $220 dollars in extremely limited numbers.
