The adidas Consortium Gardening Club collection debuted in 2019, to plenty of praise from fans. Now, the reigns of two of the original silhouettes, the Novaturbo and Hoverturf, have been handed off to the adidas Originals team for new colorways in 2020.
Last year, adidas’ Consortium division delivered a capsule collection built for the outdoors, but in a casual way. Titled the “Gardening Club”, the collection blended trail-ready aesthetics with lifestyle-minded gear for a fun and sporty project. Now, adidas Originals is picking up the torch and reviving the Gardening Club silhouettes with a stealthy new colorway. Featuring the Response Hoverturf and the hybrid Novaturbo H6100LT, the Originals team’s take on the gardening shoes repaints both silhouettes in a largely black base, featuring panels in olive green and accents in gold and lighning blue. Both pairs are fairly resistant to water and dirt, and with the Novaturbo’s hybrid sandal/shoe options, both shoes are excellent options for the Spring and Summer months.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS GARDENING CLUB NOVATURBO H6100LT AND RESPONSE HOVERTURF RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest colorways of adidas’ Gardening Club shoes, the Response Hoverturf and the Novaturbo H6100LT, are scheduled to release later this week on February 28th, 2020, from stores like BSTN, while shops like Nice Kicks already have them available in-store. Prices for both shoes are expected to remain at $140 for the Novaturbo and $160 for the Hoverturf, and will be available from adidas Originals accounts, not just Consortium retailers.
