The adidas NMD has been a staple for the brand since its introduction in 2015. Now, the Three Stripes are bringing back the OG fan-favorite iterations of the silhouette in January.

The NMD_R1 changed the world of sneakers when it first dropped in 2015. For the next two years, adidas completely dominated the world of popular footwear, largely through other BOOST-cushioned shoes like the UltraBoost and Yeezy lines. Since then, dozens of new iterations and revamped models have hit shelves, but nothing hits quite like the original R1. Luckily, the Three Stripes are running it back for the new year, releasing the shoe’s original white & black color schemes on January 1st. Featuring the form-fitting knit upper and colorful EVA midsole inserts for better performance, we can soon relive that time in early 2016 when the NMD took over the world.
