adidas introduced the NMD S1 last year, adding onto the long line of silhouettes under the Nomad banner. This season, a new ‘Miami’ colorway is coming, dressing the shoe in white with bright, colorful accents.
The NMD line from adidas has introduced many new versions of the massively popular sneaker in the years since its 2016 debut. The latest is the NMD S1, likely the largest deviation from the Three Stripes usual formula for the shoes. Featuring a sock-like knit upper and a super chunky, Boost-filled midsole, the S1 sounds similar on paper, but looks vastly different in person. The midsole features a reworked version of the OG’s EVA plugs, trimming them down to simple inserts and burying them under the sole’s translucent cover. Additionally, the outsole features a thick, Trefoil-patterned lug pattern for plenty of grip. The latest colorway of the S1 to surface gives the shoe a distinctly ‘Miami’ look, featuring a largely white silhouette with bright accents in electric blue and neon orange. Transparent knit windows on the side let you add a bit of extra color on your own.
ADIDAS NMD S1 ‘MIAMI’ RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas’ latest colorway of their recent NMD S1 has not been announced for release, though they are expected to land on shelves sometime this Spring. Featuring ‘Miami’-themed accents on a white base, pairs will be available from the brand’s website for $200.
