We just got a first look at the new adidas NMD_R1 silhouette and it already looks like we will be seeing releases as early as next month with this “Metallic Gold” iteration.
While the NMD will always be in demand, fans have been expressing their feelings with the overs saturation of the market as well as the same look and feel. This year alone, adidas brought new life to the silhouette as they worked with different designs, themes, and accents but now they look to be going the extra mile as they have prepared a second version for Three Stripe fans.
This edition arrives with a thicker than normal black primeknit upper. A new rubber lace cage helps tie the shoe down with 3M black laces while tonal black Three Stripes adorn the midfoot. adidas branding graces the tongue in red, white and blue while a heel tab features red writing that adds a nice little effect to the silhouette. The midsole EVA plugs arrive in black while a new accessory connects to the back plug that adds new support. The Boost midsole is painted in gold and white for a split-look while a black outsole finishes off the design.
