adidas has introduced their “United By Sneakers” campaign which will include this adidas NMD_R1 “Tokyo” which features gold Boost.
We first got a look at the Mexico City NMD_R1 which surfaced on Cinco de Mayo, so we didn’t think it would be a continuing theme from The Three Stripes but we were wrong. Their United By Sneakers collection will feature the NMD_R1 taking stops on a world tour in special cities around the globe.
This edition dedicated to Tokyo features a great design regardless of the campaign or meaning behind the sneaker. Arriving in an official colorway of Cloud White, Core Black, and Scarlet, the color-blocking is perfect for the upcoming season. Featuring a white primeknit upper with tonal accents on the lacing system, heel cap, and Three Stripes branding which black details, red completes the upper on the tongue label. Likely the star of the show, the Boost midsole opts for a split look of black and gold.
