adidas has a special reunion planned for the summer which has prepared the OG NMD R1 for a 2021 return.
Originally released all the way back in 2015, a lot of nostalgic vibes are attached to the NMD R1 especially in the OG fan-favorite colorway. Set to arrive exactly like the original, the pair will feature a black primeknit upper with added black tonal TPU and rubber overlays that feature the Three Stripes branding on the sides along with the rubber heel. The black effect continues onto the heel tab and tongue branding which allows a white Boost midsole and red and blue EVA inserts to allow a nice break from the dark upper.
