The reflective xeno colorblocking and tech have always been a fan favorite. adidas looks to go back to their roots and give the reflective xeno treatment to the NMD R1 and Nite Jogger this Fall.
It’s been awhile since we have seen a reflective xeno colorway adorn an adidas model so this this is definitely a treat. While when the new reflective colorway was released when 3M was just starting out, the trend has grown massively and the once then futuristic technology fits in right at home now.
Each silhouette arrives with an all-black upper and black Boots midsole for a rather dark look and feel. For contrast and a pop of color, both feature bright orange branding that gives a nice look to both silhouettes. Each features iridescent overlays as the Nite Jogger arrives with iridescent hints on its ankle, toe, and sees speckled flecks on the suede overlay while the NMD R1 takes on the clean design on the midfoot Three Stripes branding and EVA insert on the midsole. Both are very clean colorways and are bound to be loves by all Three Stripes fans.
