The adidas NMD_R1 has seen countless variations and colorways since it’s debut back in 2015. Now, the brand is introducing a new pattern for the upper which will appear first on the clean new “Lush Red” iteration, coming soon.

The adidas NMD family has taken a step back from the limelight in 2018. The storied and cherished line has been at the center of adidas’ meteoric rise to prominence, though this year’s releases have slowed down. 2018 saw the release of several new additions to the NMD franchise, and despite these great-looking newcomers, the original R1 silhouette still reigns supreme. The latest colorway of the adidas NMD_R1 is maybe one of the cleanest we’ve seen in some time. The upper brings a new kind of texture to the NMD silhouette with its grid-like pattern running across the shoe. The main body is dyed entirely in a slightly off-white hue, separating most of this NMD from the plain white Boost midsole it rests on top of. Finally, avid fans of the adidas NMD franchise will remember the Lush Red tone on the rear bricks as the original shade of red from the first few NMD colorways in 2015.

The latest adidas NMD_R1 color scheme is one of the most simple in some time and is scheduled to drop on September 6th, 2018. The clean white & red look will retail for the usual $130 price tag from both adidas and select retailers.
