adidas just surprise-released a new Eggplant NMD_R1 that dons iridescent purple-colored Boost technology.
This year we haven’t seen the influx of new colorways on the NMD_R1 like we’re used too but that may be due to the V2 variant taking up some of the new colorways but that’s not to say the sneaker has not been busy this year. The Three Stripes have been looking for a happy medium with new colorways but also not flooding the market with silhouettes and it appears they may have found their momentum.
This Eggplant iteration features a black primeknit upper that features black tonal overlays throughout which allows iridescent Eggplant overlays to shine on the forefoot, heel, tongue, and the Boost midsole. Black is then used on the EVA pods, heel clip and rubber outsole that finish off the new sleek design.
