adidas’ NMD_R1 has been a staple for the brand. One of their best performing models takes on “clear pink” and is highlighted with a tropical design just in time for summer.
Although new versions of the NMD have made their debuts, The Brand with The Three Stripes still spends a decent amount of time with the OG version, the R1. Through taking a break for a bit of time, they now look to be bringing the model back out with fresh new colors and added designs just like this pair here.
For this edition, the soft knit upper takes on a soft clear pink all throughout including the Three Stripes branding and lacing system. Adding contrast to the pastel pink on the upper, a rubber heel counter, tongue, and EVA insert towards the toe all take on a darker shade of pink. To add a tropical look, the heel’s EVA pod gets a tropical flower design that brings shades of pink, baby blue, orange, and yellow, which is also featured on the insole. To top the shoe off, it sits on an all-white BOOST midsole and black outsole.

The NMD_R1 “Clear Pink” looks to be coming soon. As of now, there is not an official release date, but expect them to be released any day now. They will be available at select retailers and adidas.com for a retail price of $130.
