While the NMD R1 V2 has been on the market for a couple of months now, adidas hasn’t forgotten about their original NMD. The shoe has actually been allowed to be tooled with, pairing the sneaker with brand new takes like this Black Multi rendition.
With the addition of the NMD R1 V2, adidas hasn’t slowed the production of the OG at all. The second sneaker has taken off some pressure on the original which has allowed adidas to play around with the design a little bit more than usual. This edition is a perfect example of just that with a brand new take to the classic silhouette.
This edition arrives with a black primeknit upper which showcases a multi-colored design weaved in throughout showcasing blue and yellow knit. Black detailing is also given to the sneaker on the Three Stripes branding, lace eyelets, and TPU heel support while blue and yellow paint adidas tongue branding, as well as the standard EVA plugs. A bright yellow heel tab and a black Boost midsole finish off the new design.
