adidas will be adding a new colorway to their NMD_R1 that calls for “Active Gold” detailing on a black primeknit upper.
A Pittsburgh fans’ dream, adidas has brought new life to their NMD_R1 with black and yellow. While we are used to the NMD themes that have adorned the silhouette lately whether it be pastels, iridescent or classic colorways, this color blocking looks unique and fresh to the eye.
The black primeknit upper arrives as dark as possible which allows Active Gold detailing on The Three Stripes branding on the side planning, trefoil logo on the tongue, and heel clip to all pop n prime-time fashion. A white Boost midsole then adds another shade of brightness to the sneaker while Active Gold covers the standard EVA pods. A black rubber outsole then completes the new design.
