The adidas NMD_R1 has seen countless colorways and builds in the years since its debut. However, the latest special-edition may be the most interesting yet. Take a look at the Atlanta-themed pair from the wild new Printed series.
The adidas NMD is constantly releasing in fresh new looks. This month, we have already had a shot several new variations including new branding and unusual color combos. Now, U.S. footwear retailers like Champs and Footlocker have been slowly releasing special edition NMD_R1 colorways themed after certain cities. This month, both stores dropped the next piece of the collection, with a colorway strongly alluding to the city of Atlanta. For this release, the NMD is covered in a plain white upper. The stripes, heel counter, and branding are visible in negative space, meaning a blue dye was placed around them to create an invisible edge. Finally, the ATL themed NMD is finished off with a plain black Boost midsole.

The second drop in adidas’ new Printed NMD series is available now from Footlocker. The “Atlanta” themed colorway retails for the NMD’s usual $130 price tag and is available from adidas and select retailers.
