First Look at adidas’ LightBlaze Moc in “MX Carbon”

adidas is cooking up a brand new silhouette to introduce in Spring 2025, building on their innovations in molded foam footwear. The LightBlaze Moc uses their LightStrike cushioning, with an “MX Carbon” style expected early next year.

adidas pioneered the current trend of injection-molded foam sneakers several years ago, with the introduction of Kanye West’s YZY Foam Runner. Since then, the simple slip-on styles have become a norm across the industry. This week, the Three Stripes latest innovation in injection molding has surfaced, giving us an early look at the LightBlaze Moc coming in 2025.

The LightBlaze blends the styling of several popular adidas models over the years, though its proximity to the OG Foam Runner cannot be understated. The new shoe uses their recent LightStrike technology, which largely appears in their performance running shoes. The model has plenty of holes for air flow, and is dressed in a “MX Carbon” colorway for its debut.
