The adidas Gardening Club is back. After the introduction of the Three Stripes most elite new performance line in 2020, the Consortium team is hard at work, this time delivering the Hoverturf in a special “Plant & Grow” edition.
Back in Fall 2019, adidas’ Consortium division debuted a strange new collection geared toward a very niche field of performance: gardening. Titled the Gardening Club, this collection featured a small assortment of brand new footwear to provide even the most hardcore horticulturist with the right sneakers for the job. From this project, a reformed vintage running shoe called the Hoverturf emerged as the fan-favorite, and has since remained in the Three Stripes arsenal for the last few years. This week, adidas quietly released a fresh new colorway of the Hoverturf, honoring our planet Earth with the special-edition “Plant & Grow” colorway. Featuring shades of brown across the ripstop and leather upper, the look is accented by Frozen Yellow accents to complete the look.

adidas Consortium’s latest colorways of their “Gardening Club” Response Hoverturf, in shades of brown, is currently available directly from the brand’s website. The trail-inspired “Plant & Grow” edition will launch from both adidas and select retailers, maintaining the original retail price of $160.
