adidas Originals is celebrating the classic Forum basketball shoe in 2021, reviving the classic court shoe in new and vintage styles. This week, we have our first look at a modern-day update for the Forum, deconstructing the silhouette for a new Minimalist version, coming soon.

The adidas Forum is back for 2021, celebrating an all-time great basketball shoe with retro releases, vintage remakes, and of course, new updates to the now thirty-six-year-old silhouette. The first of these updates have surfaced online this week, giving us a good look at the Forum Low Minimalist, a deconstructed, scaled-down take on the original adidas leather basketball shoe. Constructed largely from leather with rough suede accents to add some texture, the Forum Low Minimalist retains most of the visible panels from the original, shifting their positions and layering as well as altering the ways they connect with each other for a unique new look that features minimal stitching throughout. Coming soon, the Forum Low Minimalist will make its debut in the “Clear Pink” tonal colorway seen here, with more slated to follow.

adidas Originals’ new minimalist, deconstructed take on the classic Forum Low has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to land in stores sometime in the coming weeks. The Forum Low Minimalist will be available from both adidas and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $110 per pair. Check out the official images below for a better look at the new style Forum, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more adidas release news.
