The retro Forum revival from adidas Originals continues this month, with the addition of several new colorways to the growing lineup of the ’84 vintage model. Today, the Forum Hi dropped in “Glow Pink”, and is available directly from the brand’s website.

The adidas Forum basketball shoe first debuted in 1984, replacing the Top Ten as the Three Stripes’ premier basketball shoe. Priced at $100, a nearly unthinkable high for the time, the Forum quickly became the standard for all-leather basketball shoes, thanks to its availability in both low and high formats. Now, the Forum is a piece of history, celebrated as a stepping stone in basketball footwear technology as well as a major influence on adidas design for decades to come. This month, the Three Stripes released a few new colorways of its faithful Forum ’84 silhouette, continuing the celebration of the classic court shoe. One low-top colorway in a watermelon theme, and the second, a hi-top version with a “Glow Pink” color scheme that we are taking a closer look at here. The Forum High begins with a white leather base for the upper, before adding the namesake Glow Pink tones to the collar and ankle as well as the inner lining, heel counters, and outsoles. Vivid Red suede stripes adorn either side of the shoe to complete the look.
