Late in 2020, adidas kicked off a string of releases celebrating the 1984 Forum and its contributions to both basketball and footwear history. This month, that celebration continues with the release of the Forum ’84 High in a vintage “Halo Green” colorway.
The Forum’s surprise return has been an exciting retro release to follow this year, as adidas has covered all their bases with both in-line and special-edition releases of the classic basketball sneaker, and plenty of each to go around. This week, we have an early look at a new high-top version of the Forum High 84, casting the vintage basketball shoe in a flat, neutral colorway. This iteration of the Forum 84 high begins with a pale “Halo Green” shade of leather for its base layer, before adding its usual system of overlays in light grey suede. The Halo Green tone is added again to the Three Stripes and midsole accents, while simple grey adidas branding blends into the tongues.

adidas Originals’ latest release in the ongoing Forum retro revival has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks. The Forum 84 OG Low in this grey suede makeup will be available from both adidas and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $110 per pair.
