The adidas Originals Ozweego first made its return to the brand’s arsenal last year, reviving the shoe just ahead of its 25th-anniversary. Now, the Three Stripes have another new iteration to show off this week, titled the Ozweego Pure.

The adidas Ozweego silhouette first debuted in July of 1996, at the time a top-of-the-line lightweight running shoe built for competitive use, and utilizing adiPrene midsole technology. Now, the Ozweego has been transformed into a modern lifestyle model, beloved by adidas fans for its history and timeless good looks. This week, however, adidas has added not one, but two new members to the Ozweego family, first the breathable Celox version, and now, the more clean-cut Pure variation. The latest adidas Ozweego rebuilds the upper with a form-fitting textile for a snug, sock-like fit. This version also removes excess overlays, blending the various layers into one solid, lightweight shoe. The Ozweego Pure has launched in two initial colorways, one eye-catching pair in neon orange, and a second in simple black and white tones.
