What would have been the 43rd Annual McDonald’s All-American Game, adidas is still set to release a special Dame 6 dubbed, “JamFest” that celebrates the even regardless of cancellation.
COVID-19 changed a lot for many lives and made a huge dent in the sports world. The Olympics, NBA, MLB, NHL and NFL seasons all look to be dramatically affected but a lot of events that don’t stand out like the McDonalds All-American Game also will be fighting back this year from the effects of a global pandemic. A tradition for 43 years came to a halt this year for safety reasons but adidas and Damian Lillard still look to showcase the event and honor the game this year.
Featured in a Signal Green and Bright Cyan color-scheme, this Dame 6 arrives in split fashion. Boasting a comfortable mesh upper, the medial portion arrives in blue while the lateral calls for bright green. A contrasting blue suede patch highlights the green toes while green laces tie the split tongue down. The rubber midsole opts for the same green/blue theme while “Jamfest” is written in on the inner insoles. Finishing off the design the only way fitting is a 50/50 green and blue rubber outsole.
