adidas Consortium has done some of our favorite work from the Three Stripes, and their signature silhouettes are at the top of that list. This month, the brand’s advanced team is launching its latest original work, the trail-inspired Sahale X runner.
This year has seen a surprising uptick in signature releases from the adidas Consortium team, a trend that kicked off late last year with the advanced division’s gardening-themed collection. Now a full year later, Consortium returns to the outdoors to debut the trail-runner-inspired Sahale X that launched earlier this week. Constructed from mix mesh, suede, and ballistic nylon, the Sahale X takes on the typical stance of an outdoor running shoe, mounted on top of a durable sole whose rubber elements wrap up around the sides of the upper for added protection. The Sahale X is available in two colorways for its initial launch, one coating the upper in icy blue tones with steely grey overlays, and the second is a more dessert-ready shade of tan with the same grey accents.
