The adidas Gardening Club is back. After the introduction of the Three Stripes most elite new performance line last year, the Consortium team is back at work, ready to deliver some new tonal colorways of the fan-favorite Response Hoverturf later this week.
Back in Fall 2019, adidas’ Consortium division debuted a strange new collection geared toward a very niche field of performance: gardening. Titled the Gardening Club, this collection featured a small assortment of brand new footwear to provide even the most hardcore horticulturist with the right sneakers for the job. The collection consists of three shoes, two variations of the Response Hoverturf, and the Novaturbo, a sneaker/sandal hybrid. The Response Hoverturf was the clear star of the collection, thanks to a wickedly cool-looking upper made from ultra-durable ripstop nylon, and reinforced with ballistic nylon for durability. Clearly inspired by trail running sneakers, the Hoverturf also comes with an Adiprene+ midsole and a jagged outsole with all the grip you could need on a breezy Sunday afternoon. Now, the adidas Consortium team is hard at work readying their latest release of the Response Hoverturf, which launches later this week in new tonal black and white colorways.

The trail-inspired silhouette will launch from both adidas and select retailers, maintaining the original retail price of $160.
