adidas’ ClimaCool technology has been permeating throughout the brand’s catalog in recent years, providing more breathable versions of their classic silhouettes. Now, the airflow tech is jumping on the slip-on wagon with the ClimaClog, coming in 2023.

In 2002, adidas released the ClimaCool, a new running silhouette built for the hottest days, providing a more breathable shoe to keep your feet clean and feeling fresh. The technology is essentially just cutouts all over the shoe, even the soles, combined with an airy spacer mesh to give you as much airflow as possible. Now, with the current slip-on shoe craze continuing to gain steam, the Three Stripes are gearing up to combine the two, giving us the ClimaClog that is expected to release in Spring 2023. The silhouette features a two-piece construction, consisting of a molded rubber outer shell and sole, with an inner neoprene bootie for a form-fitting, snug fit. The heel section is collapsible, giving you two wats to wear the shoe. The Clima tech includes plenty of holes across the upper, as well as the bottom of the shoe to keep the soles of your feet cool.
