adidas is gearing up to release some Halloween-themed footwear this year, introducing a new grey suede version of the Campus 80s with instructions on ‘How to Kill a Werewolf’, coming soon.
adidas has a penchant for going all in on their Halloween-themed footwear releases. Last year, the Three Stripes released a spooky patchwork version of the ZX 8000, as well as three sneakers themed after various common monsters, like witches and mummies. Now, gearing up for Halloween 2022, the Three Stripes have quietly unveiled their ‘How to Kill a Werewolf’ Campus 80s, a tonal iteration of the retro silhouette with fairly explicit instructions on how to end a lycanthrope. The silhouette begins with a shaggy suede upper cast in grey, with smooth suede toe caps and stripes, mixing up the textures. Each shoe features a different tongue design, one with three claw marks through a Trefoil logo, and the other with a silver bullet and ‘How to Kill a Werewolf’ branding. The silver bullet pieces appear on the outer heels as well, while branded insoles of a bullet piercing a heart complete the look.

adidas’ new ‘How to Kill a Werewolf’ Campus 80s has not yet bene given an official release date, though they are expected to release closet to Halloween at the end of the month. Featuring a shaggy grey suede upper, pairs of this limited-edition release are expected to drop from both adidas’ website and select retailers, with a price tag of $100.
