adidas Speedfactories are beginning to pump out tons of product. Since the global release of the AM4 line a few weeks ago, there have been plenty of pairs to meet demand. Now, adidas recently launched a special edition AM4 for German FAU fans.

adidas Speedfactories are starting to pop up around the globe. After the facility in Germany produced the first two consumer-release shoes, the AM4LDN and AM4PAR, the American factory in Atlanta finally opened its doors. The Speedfactory process is quite impressive. The upper for each shoe is built lightning fast, and attached to the Boost midsole with zero glue involved, meaning the fit feels seamless. The latest pair to be used is a new exclusive AM4FAU, which recently appeared overseas, exclusively on the EU adidas website. The new AM4FAU is a bit of a mystery, as we originally thought them to be made for Florida Atlantic University, but after some digging, we discovered the pair was made for Friederich-Alexander-Universitat. The school is a fairly large German university, known for their role in helping adidas to create the Speedfactory initiative. Now, the Three Stripes is offering this special edition AM4 exclusively to FAU students, staff, and alumni as a thank-you for their contribution.

The latest sneaker from the adidas Speedfactory AM4 line is available now, exclusively in Europe. The clean take on the AM4 for FAU retails for the usual $200, and it is currently unclear if they will receive a US release.
