Anthony Edwards’ AE1 from adidas remains one of the best performance basketball shoes on the market. The two seem to be well aware of this, and are finishing 2024 in style, with this “Iron Sharpens Iron” pair coming soon.
adidas and Anthony Edwards have had a perfect run this year with their AE1, the first signature shoe for the Timberwolves forward. With the release of the second edition somewhere on the horizon, the two are still cooking up excellent new styles of the OG, finishing the year strong with one last new look, and an eye-catching one at that.
The next release of the AE1 will be the “Iron Sharpens Iron” pair, featured on the shoe’s low-top edition. The look comes with a black mesh inner bootie, and its plastic outer cage features an “Iron Metallic” shade that is akin to the Three Stripes color-changing Xeno finish from a few years ago. The look is finished off with a Solar Orange accent for both the Stripes and AE logos.
ADIDAS AE1 LOW “IRON SHARPENS IRON” RELEASE INFORMATION
The next colorway of Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 Low is expected to arrive this month on November 29th, 2024. Dressed in black with an Iron Metallic cage and orange adidas branding, pairs will be available from the Three Stripes and select retailers for $110.
