Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe with adidas is still going strong, popping up in new colorways regularly. This week, a new pair of the AE 1 Low has surfaced ahead of its anticipated holiday release, doused in a bright blue shade for the “Christmas” edition.
adidas’ AE 1 has taken over the world of basketball footwear this year, widely regarded as one of the best player signature models in years. The shoe’s unique construction of a honeycomb TPU outer shell makes them unmistakable, and their unique color blocking and style has made them wearable on and off the court. With the approach of the inevitable AE 2 sometime soon, the Three Stripes still has some gas in the tank with the OG.
This week, we have an early look at a new style of the AE 1 Low for later this year. Currently rumored to be the “Christmas” pair, we are expecting Ant to wear them on December 25th in the Wolves’ game against the Mavericks. The look brings another tonal style to the silhouette, covering it in a bright “Blue Burst” shade.
