adidas’ revival of archival silhouettes has been dominating their originals category for a few years now. This month, the Three Stripes are paying homage to some of those shoes with a new collection, titled the “adiTECH” pack.
The Three Stripes archives’ are packed with hundreds of silhouettes across over a dozen athletic categories, yet somehow they all seem to end up in Originals. Not that it’s a problem, we get to continue enjoying our favorite adidas sneakers long after the technology inside is out of date. However, this week, the German sportswear brand is paying homage to that exact technology with a new four-shoe pack. adidas’ new adiTECH Collection takes four classic, fan-favorite silhouettes, paints them all in one unifying colorway, and decks that out with outer layers built for the winter. The pack includes the Yung-1, Continental 80, Rivalry Lo, and the legendary Stan Smith. Each shoe begins with a white base layer featuring small accents in royal blue, orange, and red on top of a plain white midsole. The laces have all been replaced with outdoor-inspired ones, as well as each shoe featuring metal lace eyelets.

The adidas “adiTECH” collection has not yet been given a release date in the United States, but given that they have already launched overseas we can expect to see them in the coming weeks. The four-shoe pack will likely feature the same range of retail prices, from $100 for the Continental 80 to $140 for the Yung-1.
