The adidas Adilette is one of the German brand’s most popular footwear offerings, seen on the feet of people around the world as casual sandals, post workout slippers, or just for comfort. Now, adidas is giving them a premium spin with new materials and Boost.

The adidas Adilette has a long history with adidas as one of the brand’s best selling shoes. Originally built for athletes, primarily soccer players, to switch into before and after their games, the simple slipper quickly became a best seller amongst regular consumers, due to the outstanding comfort and unique, block-like style. Now, after many years of different versions and massaging technologies, adidas is giving the Adilette a major upgrade, with new Boost midsoles and premium materials like Snakeskin and Pony Hair for the forefoot strap. Both of these new colorways come dressed in black, to show off the difference in textures between the hair and skin, as well as remaining relatively understated and simple.

adidas’ new luxurious versions of the Adliette Boost slide launched today, March 23rd, 2020, and are still avalailable directly from the brand’s website. The “Snakeskin” and “Pony Hair” iterations come with an elevated price tag of $80, and will likely remain exclsuive to adidas stores.
