The adidas I-5923 has been a popular casual silhouette since it’s release almost a year ago. Now, for the shoe’s sophomore year, the Three Stripes is mixing the model with their signature Futurecraft 4D technology.

adidas & Carbon first debuted their collaborative midsole technology last year. Dubbed Futurecraft 4D, the new tech was designed to be customizable and adaptable for any need. The new midsole has released slowly throughout the year, trickling out in limited releases around the world. Despite this, 4D technology is rumored to be released in much wider numbers in the coming year. This week, we have our first look at one of the next adidas 4D releases, the 4D-5923.

First leaked earlier this year, the adidas 4D-5923 is a part of the brand’s recent Never Made collection. The new project is exactly what the name implies, splicing multiple adidas silhouettes together almost seamlessly. This release modifies last year’s I-5923 silhouette with the new 3D-printed midsole technology in a variety of colorways, another of which recently surfaced online. As with most of the Never Made releases so far, each pack follows a strict color theme, with the latest being dipped in all-black for the upper. The standard 5923 upper is the same, right down to the 4D-5923 branding. The Futurecraft midsole, however, comes in its standard pale green tone.
