adidas Consortium is back at it with some fiery new silhouettes. First leaked in early July, a new two-part pack pays homage to adidas’ training history with the Consortium Falcon and SS2G, arriving in stores next week.
adidas Consortium is well-known for their high-quality sneaker releases and high-profile collaborations. This month, the elite sector of the adidas Originals family pulled the curtain back on a new Consortium pack debuting around the world later this month featuring the Falcon and SS2G. Despite the Falcon’s re-emergence in 2018 as one of the hottest shoes around, the SS2G has caught most of the attention for this project.
The adidas SS2G is first and foremost, a tennis sneaker. Designed as a modern athletic take on the Superstar, the SS2G brings the classic basketball sneaker to another court with a much chunkier look. This month, in the special Consortium makeup, the SS2G features a prominently white base across the mesh, suede, and synthetic layers, paired with off-white, yellow, and navy blue gits to bring the colorway together. The Falcon features a similar color scheme, painting the Primeknit upper in white, while black, navy blue, and gold detailing finishes the look.
ADIDAS CONSORTIUM FALCON & SS2G “WORKSHOP” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas officially unveiled the Consortium “Workshop” pack today, with a scheduled release date of August 8th. Currently, prices for both the Falcon and SS2G are unavailable, though we know they will release from adidas Consortium retailers.
